DEA 579 - Dental Assisting-Clinicals Credits: 5 Lecture Hours: 0 Lab Hours: 0 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 20 Course Type: Voc/Tech This course applies knowledge and skills as students rotate through dental healthcare settings. At least 50% of rotations are in general dental practice settings and one rotation in a dental specialty practice. The student will rotate four days a week, eight hours a day, for a total of 320 hours.
