DEA 413 - Dental Materials I

This course is a preliminary study of materials utilized in Dentistry. Properties of dental materials and ADA Requirements are presented.
Corequisite: DEA 507  , DEA 314  , DEA 256  , DEA 249

    1. Select the physical properties, handling characteristics of esthetic material
    2. Identify CAD/CAM components and technology
    3. Predict the principals of CAD/CAM restorations
    4. Discuss practical uses of ceramic amterials including shade guide taking
