DEA 507 - Princ of Dental Assisting Credits: 6 Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 4 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech This course introduces beginning concepts of chairside assisting with emphasis on the role of the dental team in delivery systems. Terminology, instrument identification, equipment and basic procedures are covered. Corequisite: DEA 314 , DEA 256 , DEA 413 , DEA 249 Competencies

- Describe Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and use the SDS system of colors, numbers, and pictograms used for hazardous material identification
