C++ Developer

The purpose of the C# Developer Certificate is to provide the student with the knowledge of how to design, write and execute computer programs to solve specific business problems.

The C++ Developer Certificate has two main goals. The first goal is providing students with an understanding of the theories, concepts, and techniques required to work as a C++ language developer in the technology industry. The second goal is providing the technology industry with skilled professionals. C++ has been one of the main languages with developers, and has solved numerous industry challenges. It is also one of the primary languages that drives today’s mobile experience. C++ also very useful for client side development on the two most popular mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and the two most popular desktop platforms (Windows and Mac OS X). Completion of the coursework will provide the students with a foundation in the key components in the development environment, including a basic understanding of databases. The certificate is intended to be completed within one year and prepare students for an internship or entry-level programming position.

  3. Attend any required information/registration session.

Graduation Requirements

To earn a C++ Developer certificate, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

What Kind of Work Will You Do?


A computer programmer goes through the process of designing, writing, testing, debugging and maintaining the source code of computer programs. The computer programmer also designs a graphical user interface (GUI) to make the software easier for non-technical users to use through easy, point-and-click menu options.
