EMS 468 - Prin of Pathophysiology IICredits: 7 Lecture Hours: 5 Lab Hours: 4 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech The course covers Module II of the DOT National Standards Curriculum for EMT Paramedics and prepares students for their roles and responsibilities. General principles of pharmacology and medication administration will be provided in a classroom setting. Advanced airway management and IV therapy provide for physical and field assessment, clinical decision-making, documentation, and the assessment and management of emergencies seen by the EMS provider. Prerequisite: EMS 467
