1. Demonstrate Preparatory Practices (Clinical Experience)
   1. Exhibit professional, ethical, and legal behavior consistently during patient care and clinical interactions
   2. Participate actively in the EMS system by collaborating with healthcare providers and observing EMS system functions in real-world settings
   3. Apply safety protocols and maintain situational awareness during patient encounters and clinical transport scenarios
   4. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, preceptors, and interdisciplinary team members
   5. Incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care decisions during clinical rotations
2. Examine Anatomy and Physiology (Clinical Experience)
   1. Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to interpret clinical signs and symptoms in patient assessments
   2. Demonstrate an understanding of anatomical structures during physical assessments and when identifying pathophysiological changes
3. Analyze Medical Terminology (Clinical Experience)
   1. Use medical terminology accurately when documenting patient care and discussing cases with clinical staff

8. Assess Patients (Clinical Experience)
   1. Conduct complete patient assessments, including scene size-up, primary survey, and focused history and physical exams
   2. Identify life-threatening conditions during real or simulated clinical experiences in order to respond properly
   3. Formulate field impressions and treatment plans based on evolving patient assessments, including adjustments
9. Evaluate Medicine Practices (Clinical Experience)
   1. Manage medical complaints such as chest pain, dyspnea, altered mental status, and allergic reactions in supervised settings
   2. Apply protocols and clinical reasoning in managing medical patients during EMS ride-alongs or hospital rotations
10. Demonstrate Cardiac Monitoring, ECG Interpretation, and Cardiac Interventions (Clinical Experience)
    1. Place ECG leads in order to interpret basic cardiac rhythms under supervision
    2. Correlate ECG findings with patient presentation to guide care decisions in collaboration with preceptors
    3. Assist in the application of electrical therapy and cardiac interventions where appropriate and permitted
11. Evaluate Shock and Resuscitation (Clinical Experience)
    1. Identify signs of shock in clinical patients in order to initiate appropriate interventions in real-time scenarios
    2. Perform high-quality CPR in clinical or simulation settings, including assistance with defibrillation
    3. Participate in post-resuscitation care under preceptor guidance, including reassessment and transport decisions
12. Examine Trauma (Clinical Experience) 
    1. Perform trauma assessments and interventions such as hemorrhage control, spinal motion restriction, and splinting during trauma calls or clinical simulations
    2. Respond to trauma scenarios by prioritizing care based on mechanism of injury and time-sensitive needs
13. Analyze Special Patient Populations (Clinical Experience)
    1. Provide patient-centered care to pediatric, obstetric, geriatric, and special-needs patients in clinical environments
    2. Respond appropriately when recognizing sensitive patient care situations, including abuse and neglect, with guidance from clinical staff
14. Perform EMS Operations (Clinical Experience)
    1. Demonstrate operational readiness and safety in EMS vehicle use, equipment handling, and on-scene activity during clinical ride-alongs
    2. Participate in mass casualty drills, hazardous scene awareness, and ICS/NIMS practices during clinical training
    3. Communicate effectively via radio and written reports under supervision during actual or simulated EMS calls
