MC323 - Copyright Compliance

Des Moines Area Community College endeavors to comply with Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution in the use of copyrighted works. DMACC requires DMACC students, faculty, and staff to respect and acknowledge the works of others and to act responsibly and lawfully in the use of such materials. The College recognizes its responsibility to provide educational resources regarding copyright to members of the DMACC community.

Use of copyrighted materials in any manner not allowed by the U.S. Copyright Act, subsequent guidelines, and/or other proprietary permissions is strictly prohibited.

Students, faculty, and staff are responsible for understanding and adhering to this Policy. Students, faculty, and staff who violate this Policy and/or the Act may be personally liable as provided by applicable law.
