HR416 - Child Abuse Reporting Policy
Section: Human Resources
In compliance with Iowa Code, the College shall establish procedures requiring employees who in the scope of the person’s employment responsibilities examine, attend, counsel or treat a child to report suspected child abuse.
DMACC administration shall cooperate with law enforcement to investigate reports of suspected child abuse.
The Human Resources Department shall monitor completion of Mandatory Reporter child abuse training as required by Iowa Code.
