HR405 - Continuing Contracts/Employment Agreements Policy

Continuing contracts are issued to faculty and administrators who supervise faculty as required by statute. Continuing contracts shall be in writing and shall state the length of time the contract is in force and the compensation. A continuing contract may not exceed one year.
Employment agreements are issued to regular non-faculty employees providing a salary commensurate with the duties and the time period. Issuance of an employment agreement does not change the “at will” status unless specifically provided.
Continuing contracts and employment agreements shall be subject to the policies of the Board.
