    The College shall outline procedures for generating funds for student clubs that involve institutional resources.
     
  2. Procedure
    1. Guidelines for student club activities that involve institutional resources:
      1. Any activity, which generates revenue, must be done outside class or lab hours.
      2. The activity must not be a part of the curriculum requirements.
    2. The Student Activities Office, Ankeny Campus, maintains a gambling license which clubs may use for club sponsored raffles or games of chance. An activity Approval Form must be completed by the club and approval received from the Student Activities Coordinator prior to any ticket sales. The Activity Approval Form must also be completed and approved for any other club-sponsored activity such as bake sales, meetings, conferences, travel, fundraisers (on or off campus), volunteering (on or off campus), retreats, workshops, etc. Clubs must report proceeds from fundraising activities to the Student Activities Office immediately upon completion of the activity because payment of state sales tax may be required.
    3. Any food sale (excluding bake sales) must be on compliance with the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals Food and Consumer Safety Bureau regulations. A copy of the regulations can be obtained from the Ankeny Student Activities Coordinator.
