To outline the process for development of the Student Activities budget.
- Procedure
- The Student Activities Council (SAC) procedure established for payment of claims (consistent with Business Procedure BS5814 ) will be followed. No payment will be made unless it is properly approved by the Student Activities Council and in accordance with Board Policy 5006.
- The Finance Committee of the Student Activities Council will begin budget preparations in January annually and will follow the SAC procedures for the budget process.
- The proposed budget for the following fiscal year must be approved by the Finance Committee, Student Activities Council, Vice President of Enrollment Services and Student Success, and the Board of Directors.
- Upon approval of the above, the Student Activities budget will become effective for the following fiscal year.
