To outline the process for development of the Student Activities budget.
- Procedure
- The Student Activities Council (SAC) procedure established for payment of claims (consistent with Business Procedure BS5814 ) will be followed. No payment will be made unless it is properly approved by the Student Activities Council and in accordance with Board Policy 5006.
- The Finance Committee of the Student Activities Council will begin budget preparations in January annually and will follow the SAC procedures for the budget process.
- The proposed budget for the following fiscal year must be approved by the Finance Committee, Student Activities Council, Vice President of Student Affairs, and the Board of Directors.
- Upon approval of the above, the Student Activities budget will become effective for the following fiscal year.
