To provide direction and clarification of Club responsibility for their own spending procedures.
- Procedure
- The Student Activities Council will not be held liable for any deficit spending by campus clubs. The Student Activities Council at the Des Moines Area Community College will provide limited funding for officially recognized student clubs.
- Under this funding procedure, a predetermined amount of money will be allocated on an annual basis to those clubs following recognized procedures for requesting said funding.
- The Student Activities Coordinator or Activities Assistant must approve club expenditures exceeding $200.
- According to the Student Activities annual proposed budget, each club will have full responsibility for maintaining a balanced budget and the Student Activities Council will assume no liability for a deficit acquired by any club or organization.
- The actual obtaining of funds will be in accordance with Business Procedures BS5830 .
