HR3360 - Commercial Solicitation of Employees

1. Institutional Regulation
   
   Commercial solicitation of employees by non-profit or for profit entities is not allowed without expressed permission from the President.
    
2. Procedure
   1. Posting of offered services or discounts for employees
      1. Independent solicitation of employees is not allowed.
      2. Entities wishing to offer a service or discount to DMACC employees may provide information to Human Resources at hroffers@dmacc.edu.
      3. If deemed appropriate, the services/discounts will be made available online at https://www.dmacc.edu/hr/offers/Pages/welcome.aspx and employees may access the offers at their discretion.
   2. Exceptions
      1. Any program or fundraising activity which has received prior approval from the Student Activities Council (SAC) or the President
      2. The sale of products or services produced by students as part of their program of study or as otherwise approved by the College.
      3. DMACC sponsored educational and/or training events where exhibitors sell products or services to the event participants when the product(s) and/or service(s) relates directly to their education and/or training.
