  1. Institutional Regulations

    Physical Plant shall be responsible for controlling all areas in which decorations of a combustible nature are to be displayed.
     
  2. Procedure
    1. All displays, hangings, drops, curtains, seasonal decorations, and all other decorative materials that would tend to increase the fire and panic hazard must be made from materials that are non-flammable.
    2. Exit doors, exit corridors, exit lights, fire alarm boxes, hose cabinets and fire extinguishers will not be concealed, covered, or obstructed in partial or in full.
    3. The use of any open-flame burning candle or other device in connection with a public meeting, entertainment, eating establishment or office space is prohibited.
