  1. Institutional Regulations

Students are required to pay or make arrangements to pay all tuition and fees by the established due date.

  2. Procedure
    1. Students:
      1. Payment is due by the established due date for each term, except as follows:
        1. Financial Aid:
          1. Students with approved Financial Aid will have their aid released to their account in accordance with Federal and State guidelines.
          2. The Financial Aid Department may grant an extension of the payment due date to students with pending aid, however there is no guaranteed enrollment past the due date.
        2. Payment Agreements:
          1. Students may initiate an installment plan for payment of credit class enrollment with a down payment as determined by the Business Office plus a non-refundable fee.
          2. The plan may be initiated anytime after registration and prior to the term’s due date or at the time of enrollment, if after the due date.
          3. The plan guarantees the student enrollment in credit courses for the semester, even if payments are not made on time.
          4. Information concerning the plan will be made available to students in the Business Office of each campus.
          5. Students not making timely payments may be precluded from dropping courses from their schedule.
      2. Only the Business Office shall be authorized to make special arrangements with students for payment of amounts due.
    2. Third Party Payments (Employers/Agencies):
      1. The employer or agency that wishes to pay for student enrollment charges must provide written notification to the Business Office.
      2. The student is responsible to determine that DMACC has received the notification by the due date of the term.
      3. The College will not accept a conditional billing request (student must have passing grade, etc.).
      4. The Business Office or the appropriate department as designated by the Business Office will complete the billing.
    3. The College reserves the right to assess a late registration fee anytime after the designated last day to formally add classes.
    4. The student’s enrollment will be cancelled if payment or payment arrangements have not been made by the stated due date of the term.
    5. The Business Office must approve any and all exceptions to these procedures.
