CRR 523 - Paint Correction & Detailing

1. Demonstrate proper paint correction techniques
   1. Show proper selection of abrasives to remove orange peel, dirt and any imperfections
   2. Show proper selection and use of polishes and buffers to repair minor imperfections in the finish
   3. Show use of buffing tools, to correct large or small areas

   2. Show correct use of polishing equipment to restore the gloss or remove scratches in a painted surface
   3. Demonstrate use of buffing tools, to correct large or small areas
4. Assess importance of applying corrosion protection
   1. Knowledge of why corrosion protection is important
   2. Demonstrate knowledge of locations of corrosion protection
   3. Apply/restore corrosion protection 
5. Demonstrate proper detailing of a vehicle
   1. Develop the proper sequence of how to detail a vehicle
   2. Define customer expectations with a detail
6. Demonstrate use of specific detailing materials
   1. Show steps and chemicals needed for the detail process
   2. Show proper use of chemicals on trim, plastics, leather etc.
