                  DSL 210 - CDL ELDT Driver Training Credits: 5 Lecture Hours: 0 Lab Hours: 10 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech This course is designed to familiarize and orient students to safe driving practices of a commercial vehicle. Instruction includes training with commercial vehicle on both the range and road. This course satisfies all Federal behind the wheel curriculum requirements for students seeking a CDL from the Iowa DOT. Prerequisite OR Corequisite: DSL 110   Competencies  
	- Demonstrate basic operator knowledge of a commercial vehicle
	
		- Identify vehicle component and controls needed for operation
 
		- Practice vehicle inspections and basic commercial vehicle operations ensuring safe vehicle operation
