The course covers all FMCSA CFR’s for basic Class A theory for Entry Level Driver Training. Competencies

- Describe vehicle inspections to ensure safe vehicle operation
- Identify vehicle controls and operations
- Diagnose basic malfunctions of commercial vehicles

- Explain best practice emergency procedures and processes
- Identify wellness and signs of fatigue and impairment
- Interpret federal requirements and processes for drivers
- Report about non-driving activities related to a commercial vehicle
- Identify hours of service requirements for drivers
- Explain recommended trip planning processes to ensure efficiency
