The purpose of the SQL Application Developer certificate is to add to the specialization of study at DMACC. This certificate can also help the student prepare for working with databases as part of a profession in programming.

To earn a SQL Developer certificate, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

What are the salary expectations?


This certificate would provide database skills for a programmer. The median annual wage for computer programmers was $84,280 in May 2018. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $48,790, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $134,630. Most programmers specialize in a few programming languages.
