The Business Administration-Management Concentration AAS degree is designed for students who want to prepare for an immediate career in the Marketing field. Students will engage in a course of study that will prepare them with knowledge in Accounting, Computer Applications/Microsoft Suite or Adobe, Business Communications and Presentations, Marketing and Digital Marketing principles, Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Content Writing, Visual Merchandising, Selling and Retail Management, and Strategic Management. The program includes an option of a final capstone or internship experience during the last semester providing students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting before graduation.

What Kind of Work Will You Do?
- Plan and execute marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Manage a service, wholesale, retail or manufacturing business or department.
- Sell ideas and products to customers.
- Plan sales promotions and advertising campaigns, including displays.
- Maintain relationships with established customers to achieve repeat business.
- Conduct research to identify customer needs.
- Manage the human resource needs of marketing/sales staff.
- Support product performance with technical upgrades.

What Else Should I Consider about this Degree program?
- Reading, communication and math skills must be at college level to gain maximum benefit from classes.
- For career advancement and advanced position placement, students may need to continue college coursework beyond the two-year program.
- For transferability to four-year colleges and universities, it is important that students work closely with advisors and admissions counselors to maximize their course transfer option
