The Management AAS offers several diverse tracks of education for those students looking for a direct pathway from college to a career in Management.  Our AAS program also offers a broad curriculum base to allow for coursework to transfer to many colleges and universities.

The Management AAS program includes 5 general education core required courses and 10 core business and management classes. Students then can choose from one of three pathways for their Management concentration courses, including Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, or Sales and Management, or can choose courses from each pathway to gain a diverse mix of skills and experiences.  In addition, the program includes an Internship component allow students to develop practical, hands-on experiences in their areas of specific career interest and to assist with networking for future career opportunities.

Classes are designed to help students learn management skills through hands-on activities such as cases studies, simulations, team-based projects, study tours, professional development activities, and community involvement projects. In addition, faculty assist with helping students make business connections in the local community through internships and other networking opportunities. Daytime and online classes are offered.

DMACC’s Management AAS program offers flexibility for students that are currently employed in the workforce to complete coursework and utilize their current career experiences to help them gain the skills and experiences necessary to assist with career development. 

Graduates of the program have achieved career success as general managers, supervisors, human resource recruiters and assistants, office managers, manufacturing and distribution managers, production supervisors, parts and inventory managers, entrepreneurs, customer service representatives, training coordinators, sales managers, buyers and purchasing agents.

Graduation Requirements


To earn a Management, AAS degree, a student must complete all coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.
