Interior Design Consultant, Certificate



The Interior Design Consultant certificate is designed for individuals who have an interest in adding specialized training in interior home products to their credentials. The focus of the Interior Design Consultant certificate is to provide the training needed at the commercial or consumer retail levels in interior product sales, merchandising, and marketing.

To earn an Interior Design Consultant certificate, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

  5. Apply the properties and characteristics of textiles to determine appropriate care and end uses.
  6. Discuss the history, theory, & components of interior design from a global perspective.
