CRC 160 - Introduction to Speed DevelopmentCredits: 6 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 6 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech Students build endurance and focus while practicing literary, jury charge, and two-voice testimony material at increasing speeds. The importance of developing writing fluency through intentional practice continues to be stressed. Students must demonstrate the ability to write four-minute takes at 95 percent accuracy. Single-voice literary is tested at speeds ranging from 90 to 110 words per minute, single-voice jury charge is tested at speeds ranging from 110-130 words per minute, and two-voice testimony is tested at speeds ranging from 120 to 130 words per minute. Prerequisite: CRC 130 , CRC 132 , CRC 165 Corequisite: CRC 175
