CRC 132 - Machine Shorthand Skills/Techniques IICredits: 2 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech Students build on the skills mastered in CRC102, supporting writing fluency by learning to systematically evaluate realtime writing to determine individual skill weaknesses and facilitate intentional, goal-driven practice. Practice of complex finger drills, advanced number drills, and sentence drills involving high-frequency words and phrases is used to support skill growth. Drilling speeds are increased weekly to encourage steady progress, and students are tested on the ability to accurately write and read back complex numbers, common phrases, and the 500 most frequently used words.
