CRR 522 - Advanced Refinishing

Credits: 4
Lecture Hours: 2
Lab Hours: 4
Practicum Hours: 0
Work Experience: 0
Course Type: Voc/Tech
This course covers the potential problems chemicals can cause in relation to their environment. Refinishing of sheet metal and plastic parts, along with replacement and preparation for refinishing, will also be studied in the lab. Advanced automotive refinishing applications in a collision facility will be covered. Mill thickness will be studied to determine OEM allowances. Shop safety will be emphasized.
Prerequisite: CRR 150  and CRR 520
Corequisite: CRR 409  and CRR 523
