PHY 106 - Survey of Physics Credits: 4 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 2 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Core The student is exposed to the scientific method with an emphasis on elementary problem-solving. Along with a review of basic mathematics, the topics of weights and measures, mechanics, heat, gas laws, electricity, magnetism, sound, light and modern physics are covered. Competencies
