CAD 153 - CAD Applications I Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech Mechanical components and processes used in product design will be covered. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing will be taught. Preparation of welding drawings will be presented with the emphasis on proper usage of American Welding Society symbols. Precision bending of sheet metal will be covered. Prerequisite: CAD 152 , CAD 182 , CAD 242 , and MAT 773 or any AAS core Math course with prefix of MAT or BUS. Competencies
