Provide students with a foundation in statistics through the topics of collection, organization, and presentation of data; descriptive statistics; elementary probability; normal and Student t distributions; elements of statistical inference; estimation and hypothesis testing; and linear correlation and regression.
Prerequisite: Minimum  ALEKS score of 30% or MAT 064  with a C- or better or Corequisite of MAT 856  with a minimum ALEKS score of 20%.
