Topics include: collection systems, preliminary & primary treatment, secondary treatment (BD Reduction), advanced (tertiary) treatment (nutrient treatment), disinfection, effluent discharge & reuse, advanced treatment process, chemical addition (dry & liquid), solids handling, equipment performance & maintenance; and administration. Prerequisite: Grade 2 Wastewater operator’s license. Competencies
