ENG 145 - Strategies for Composition Credits: 2 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: General Designed to support student success, ENG 145 provides the resources and reinforces the skills necessary to negotiate college-level writing and reading. Students will be enrolled concurrently in ENG 105 while taking ENG 145. This course provides whole-class and individualized support for ongoing ENG 105 writing projects to improve student understanding and performance. Prerequisite: Must complete one of the following four requisites: ENG 060 or ENG 061 with a C- or better; ACT 16-18; COMPASS Reading 48-80 and Writing 54-69; ACCUPLACER Next Gen Reading 239-248 and Writing 249-253 Corequisite: ENG 105 Competencies
