ATF 320 - Technical Internship I

Work experience at a sponsoring dealership. The tasks will be consistent with the technician’s ability and previous coursework.
Prerequisite: Chair Interview, and Secured employment at Ford and/or Lincoln dealership
 
Prerequisite OR Corequisite: ATF 312  and ATF 317

  4. Complete weekly internship reports for return to ASSET instructor.

    2. Indicate your diagnosis.
    3. Submit work reports to instructor
  5. Support assigned internship tasks.
    1. Analyze concern prior to repair.
    2. Checks OASIS (on line automotive service information system).
    3. Reference TSB’s as a part of routine service procedure.
    4. Use EVTM’s (electrical and vacuum troubleshooting manuals).
    5. Develop safe working habits.
  6. Report on assigned internship tasks.
    1. Fill out task sheets.
    2. Submit documentation when appropriate.
