This course will combine the skills learned from the previous courses to begin producing completed projects.
Prerequisite: MLW 444 , MLW 445 , MLW 446 , MLW 447

    1. Distinguish between millwork and cabinetwork
  2. Organize project
    1. Develop sequence of steps to be taken
    2. Specify materials to be used
    3. Calculate the amount of material to be needed
  3. Design project
    1. Draw layouts where required
    2. Draw plan view as required
    3. Draw elevation as required
    4. Draw sections as required
  4. Develop machining list
    1. Specify where cutting is to be completed
    2. Determine dimensions for cutting sizes
    3. Determine machines to be used for processing parts
  5. Construct project
    1. Assemble sub components as required
    2. Assemble finished product as required
    3. Assemble main project as required
  6. Prepare area for installation
    1. Inspect area for installation
    2. Create a safe work environment
