Airbrush Art

The purpose of the Airbrush Art certificate is to provide design theory and practice in the techniques of airbrush regardless of the specialized application.

Airbrush is used in practically every phase of the graphic design field- in illustration, such as figure, mechanical, advertising, architectural and technical illustration; and in design, such as textile, plastic products, greeting cards and posters.

Students may start any semester.

1. Complete an application for admission.
2. Satisfy the assessment requirement.
3. Attend any required information/registration session.

Graduation Requirements

To earn an Airbrush Art certificate, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

  • Demonstrate eye-hand coordination for close work.
  • Demonstrate an eye for color and design.
  • Work independently and with little supervision.
  • Demonstrate patience while doing detailed work.
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Depending on place of employment, different techniques are used.
  • Could be used as part-time work for additional income.
