This Associate of Arts transfer degree is designed for students transferring to Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa, the University of Iowa, Clarke University or St. Ambrose University to study History. Requirements may vary at other institutions so students should become familiar with the specific course requirements of the four-year institution to which they plan to transfer.

Program Graduation Requirements
To earn a History:Transfer Major AA, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Option 1 - Select 3 Credits
Diversity Requirement:
Complete 3 semester credit hours to satisfy the Diversity Requirement with a minimum grade of “C.” The Diversity Requirement does not increase the number of credits required for graduation. The course used to fulfill the Diversity Requirement may also be used to fulfill three credits of Core requirements in Communications, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Humanities or Distributed Requirements, providing the diversity course is listed as fulfilling Core requirements in Communications, Social & Behavioral Sciences or the Humanities. If the course does not fall under any of the Core groups, the course used to fulfill the Diversity Requirement may count as an elective. Total Credits Required to Complete this Award - 64
