The Mobile Development Technology Certificate is designed to provide individuals, with no prior computer programming experience, an entry-point into the field of independent mobile application development. This certificate covers the basic fundamentals of developing applications to run on mobile devices. Upon completion, a student will also be able to distribute and market mobile apps using current business strategies for the mobile environment.

Graduation Requirements

Select one of the Operating System Platforms and complete one of the 3 course sequences.
Android OS: Term 1 CIS 171 , MDT 110 , Term 2 MDT 210 .
Or
Apple OS: Term 1 CIS 161 , MDT 120 , Term 2 MDT 220 .
Or
Apple OS: Term 1 MDT 121 , MDT 120 , Term 2 MDT 220 .

A student must complete all coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average
