The Computer Applications certificate provides students with a basic understanding of the computer applications that may be performed in an office. A student will be able to use the following applications: word processing, database, desktop publishing, graphics, presentation, spreadsheet, email, internet and operating systems.
A grade of “C” or better is required in the first course of a sequential course offering before enrolling in the second-level course of the sequence. This includes BCA 131 , BCA 212 or CSC 110 .

Program Entry Requirements
Using the DMACC testing center, demonstrate a minimum keyboarding speed of 35 nwpm (net words per minute) on a 5-minute timed writing.
