The Applied Engineering Technology Diploma program prepares students for an entry level position as a maintenance technician in industrial manufacturing. Students will be introduced to trouble shooting and repairing industrial equipment ranging from basic mechanical equipment and electrical motor controls to the more complex systems used in manufacturing environments.

Many of the credits from the Applied Engineering Technology Diploma may be applied to the Applied Engineering Technology-Electro-Mechanical Technologies, AAS degree.

Graduation Requirements

To earn an Applied Engineering Technology, Diploma, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.
