CRJ 197 - Crime Scene Investigation 2Credits: 2 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: General A continuation of Crime Scene Investigation 1, in the in-depth study of the nature of physical evidence including descriptions of forensic analysis, techniques for proper collection and preservation of evidence, and interpreting the significance of scientifically evaluated evidence. Specifically, the use of such techniques as they relate to homicide and death investigations, police personnel response to crime scenes, the gathering of information from witnesses, victims, and suspects, and the preparation of cases for presentation in court.
