This course includes the study of urine formation and the methodology of determining the physical, chemical and microscopic properties of urine in normal and abnormal states. Basic lab skills, safety and quality control in urinalysis are presented. A basic overview of body fluid analysis will also be covered.
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Medical Laboratory Technology program
