This course provides a comprehensive overview of construction materials and their applications in residential and light commercial building. Emphasis is placed on the selection, identification, and use of building products, fasteners, structural components, and finish materials. Topics include wood and steel framing products, fasteners, grading systems, material stamps, and building code requirements.
