RCP 500 - Advanced Respiratory Therapy

This course provides an in-depth study of airway management and mechanical ventilation, emphasizing the assessment, initiation, monitoring, and modification of ventilatory support for patients with respiratory failure. Students will develop competence in invasive and noninvasive ventilation techniques, waveform analysis, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient weaning to optimize respiratory care outcomes.
Prerequisite: RCP 360  and RCP 401
