ATC 357 - Advanced Chrysler Systems

Instruction in operation, techniques, and procedures required to diagnose and repair electric/ hybrid vehicles, advanced driver assistance, safety systems and new propulsion technology.
Prerequisite: AUT 615  , AUT 652  , and AUT 842

  2. Service restraint systems
    1. Locate system operational theory in service Information
    2. Identify inflatable restraint system components
    3. Locate inflatable restraint system components on a vehicle
    4. Examine inflatable restraint operational theory
    5. Identify inflatable restraint trouble codes
    6. Diagnose failures using trouble code information
    7. Interpret information and data as it relates to diagnosis
    8. Perform clearing of trouble codes
    9. Perform the disable and enable procedures for restraint systems according to manufacturer service information
    10. Examine seatbelt pre-tensioner operation
  3. Analyze Advanced Driver Assistant Systems
    1. Discuss ADAS systems
    2. Identify component location and functions
    3. Use diagnostic tools and procedures to diagnose (troubleshoot) ADAS systems and to determine necessary action
    4. Perform ADAS relearn/reset/calibration procedures
  4. Evaluate Hybrid/Electric Vehicle technology
    1. Discuss hybrid/high-voltage vehicle systems
    2. Identify high-voltage circuits of electric or hybrid electric vehicle and related safety precautions
    3. Practice safe working practices and the use of protective equipment for enabling and disabling high voltage systems
    4. Analyze high voltage systems
    5. Perform high voltage systems enable and disable procedures
    6. Discuss the procedures to be followed to perform service of hybrid/high voltage vehicles
  5. Analyze new Stellantis engine and propulsion systems
    1. Perform the inspection and replacement procedures for camshaft and drive system components using service information.
    2. Discuss computer control valve train system and components.
    3. Inspect engine assembly for fuel oils and coolant leaks in order to determine necessary action.
    4. Perform Stellantis online training and assessments.
