ATC 357 - Advanced Chrysler Systems Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 4 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech Instruction in operation, techniques, and procedures required to diagnose and repair electric/ hybrid vehicles, advanced driver assistance, safety systems and new propulsion technology. Prerequisite: AUT 615 , AUT 652 , and AUT 842 Competencies

- Discuss ADAS systems

- Use diagnostic tools and procedures to diagnose (troubleshoot) ADAS systems and to determine necessary action
- Perform ADAS relearn/reset/calibration procedures
- Evaluate Hybrid/Electric Vehicle technology
- Discuss hybrid/high-voltage vehicle systems
- Identify high-voltage circuits of electric or hybrid electric vehicle and related safety precautions
- Practice safe working practices and the use of protective equipment for enabling and disabling high voltage systems

- Discuss the procedures to be followed to perform service of hybrid/high voltage vehicles
- Analyze new Stellantis engine and propulsion systems
- Perform the inspection and replacement procedures for camshaft and drive system components using service information.

- Inspect engine assembly for fuel oils and coolant leaks in order to determine necessary action.
