- Evaluate the operation of 2-step electric-relay sequence circuits
- Implement a micro programmable controller (PLC) system
- Describe the basic operation of a programmable logic controller
- Perform startup and normal shutdown of a micro-PLC system
- Transfer programs between a micro-PLC and PC via point-to-point Ethernet
- List the Ethernet IP address system for point-to-point
- State the basic operation of a point-to-point Ethernet network
- Evaluate a basic PLC ladder logic program
- Distinguish the elements of a PLC project
- Recite operation of a basic PLC ladder logic instructions: normally open, normally closed, output coil, internal coils, and timers
- Operate a PLC
- Monitor PLC status using I/O indicators and software
- Change PLC operation mode to Run or Program
- Program a basic PLC logic program
- Review the symbolic, absolute discrete I/O address system
- Design a basic PLC ladder program
- Test an implemented PLC ladder design
