This course will cover the fundamentals of blue print reading & measurements. The student will learn how to find information from blueprint, perform calculations involving common English units, metric units, and conversions between the two systems.

Determine if measured part dimensions meet specifications
1. Define conventional tolerance system
2. Compare measured part dimensions of circular and linear part features to upper and lower limits on technical drawing
Evaluate features in technical drawings
1. Interpret views of a multiview drawing
2. Describe guidelines for dimensioning drawings
