  1. Institutional Regulation

    To specify what health education is available through the Campus Health.
     
  2. Procedure
    1. The campus Health Specialist will provide educational services/wellness opportunities to students/faculty/staff concerning common health problems and concerns. Campus Health will collaborate with area resources/programs to offer educational/wellness services.
    2. The Campus Health Specialist will triage current DMACC students. Students will be advised to followup with their primary physician or DMACC Nurse Practitioner during DMACC office hours. DMACC faculty/staff will be advised to utilize their insurance and follow-up with their primary physician or follow-up at a local urgent care location.
    3. Educational teaching or Health Fairs will be undertaken by Campus Health with collaboration of students-DMACC or signed/designated facilitator site with contracted nursing programs. Classroom presentations for SDV-108 classes on health related topics can also be provided on request.
