EMS 481 - Special Considerations Credits: 1 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 0 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech This course covers Modules V & VI of the DOT National Standard Curriculum for EMT Paramedics. Assessment and management of specific age groups-including neonatal, pediatric and gerontologic patients-is identified. Chronically ill patients-those who have been victims of abuse and culturally diverse patients-are addressed. Prerequisite OR Corequisite: EMS 479 Competencies
