PRL 155 - Insurance Law and Reg Compl Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech This course will cover an introduction to insurance law. The course will include the history and types of insurance, principles of indemnity, interests protected, the transfer of risk and claims processes. An examination of, and requirements for, organizations maintaining compliance with regulatory schemes, emphasis on federal regulations will also be included. Prerequisite: PRL 102 , PRL 103 , PRL 112 Competencies
