RCP 100 - Intro to Respiratory Care Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Open This initial course in the Respiratory Therapy program emphasizes the assessment and evaluation of patients. Also included will be a history of health care, medical specialties, communication skills and medical terminology. Students must demonstrate skill in the assessment of patient vital signs.
