- Calculate correct cutting speeds for various machine tools and grinders
- Determine correct feeds for various machining operations
- List six different cuttings tools materials and compare some of their machining proper
- Orient spindle over a specific location
- Use edge finder
- Practice using a center finder
- Utilize test indicator
- Identify commonly used cutting tools- fly cutter, end mill, insert cutter, form cutters
- Operate a horizontal mill
- Perform daily maintenance requirements
- Setup the following accessories- vise, strap clamps
- Maintain all tooling and equipment ( student or school property) in accordance with each individual manufacture
