ATG 354 - Advanced GM Motors Systems Credits: 5 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 4 Practicum Hours: 0 Work Experience: 0 Course Type: Voc/Tech Instruction in techniques and procedures required to diagnose and service current vehicles. New systems developed by GM will be included. Prerequisite: Admission to Automotive Service Educational Program Competencies

- Diagnose constant-velocity (CV) joint noise and vibration concerns; determine needed action.
- Diagnose universal joint noise and vibration concerns; perform needed action.
- Check shaft balance and phasing; measure shaft runout; measure and adjust driveline angles.
- Diagnose drive axle shafts, bearings, and seals for noise; vibration; and fluid leakage concerns; determine necessary action.
